Hadrian, 117-138. Cistophorus (Silver, 28 mm, 10.67 g, 6 h), Sardis. HADRIANVS AVGVSTVS P P Bare head of Hadrian to right. Rev. COS III Ceres, veiled, standing right, holding grain ear and poppy in her right hand and long transverse scepter in her left; to upper right, star. Metcalf 45. RIC III 1384. Very rare. Struck from a somewhat worn obverse die and with traces of overstriking, otherwise, very fine.
